Privacy Policy

Question Parties is designed to work without collecting personal information. There are no accounts, no tracking cookies, and no third-party ad trackers. This page explains exactly what is stored, what is measured, and why.

What stays on your device

Your session state — the current game, players, audience mode, and recent prompt history — is stored in your browser's localStorage. It stays on your device and is never sent to us. Because there are no accounts, we cannot see it, recover it, or move it between devices. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Analytics

We collect privacy-safe funnel events — things like session started, prompt viewed, prompt skipped, and prompt reported. These events contain only prompt IDs and taxonomy (game type, category, and audience). They never include typed answers, player names, or anything you enter while playing. We use them to understand which games and prompts work well, not to profile individual visitors.

The submission form

If you send us a prompt idea or a report through the submission form, we receive the text you submit. Including a contact email is optional and only collected with your consent; it is used solely to respond about that submission. It is never used for marketing and never shared with third parties.

Cookies and trackers

Question Parties uses no cookies for tracking and runs no third-party ad trackers or advertising networks.

Service worker caching

The site registers a service worker so pages load faster and keep working offline. It caches site files inside your browser only and does not send data anywhere. Clearing your browser's site data removes the cache along with your local session state.

Children's privacy

The site defaults to family-safe content, requires no accounts, and does not knowingly collect personal data from children. Classroom mode runs locally in the browser the same way as every other mode, so students can play without providing any personal information.
